Named Executive Director and Rabbi Positions, Each $1,500,000
The ability over time to hire an Executive Director and Rabbi who are both technically qualified and who will inspire and relate well to students, faculty, and the broader Jewish community, is of paramount importance to the future of Jewish life at Stanford. Student Leadership Development
in Memory of Robert Levison, Jr. '48 $525,000
A total of $525,000 is sought through many gifts in memory of Robert Levison, Jr. '48, to support a multi-track leadership program that includes separate undergraduate fellowships and graduate Jewish leadership seminars; subsidies to enable students to participate in a wide array of national conferences; support for Hillel at Stanford’s mentorship program; and leadership dinner series that provide students with the opportunity to engage with prominent local, national and international leaders in informal settings, usually over dinner prior to public lectures.
Passover Seders $500,000
Support for a wide variety of themed Seders each year to appeal to the broadest possible spectrum of Jewish students, including Orthodox, Liberal, Social Action, Graduate, and dorm-based student led Seders. 450 students have participated annually in recent years, but at a cost per student that if subsidized further, would increase participation.

Hillel Student Allocations Committee (HSAC) $100,000
Consistent with Hillel’s mission internationally, Hillel at Stanford recently transitioned the allocation process for support of student-initiated programs to student leaders themselves.
