Relationships and community have always been cornerstones of Judaism. Consequently, and due to the fact that hanging out with people is fun and meaningful, we hold social life as a high priority at Hillel. Social programming through Hillel at Stanford offers students a variety of avenues to meet new friends, grow personally, and expand their Jewish networks at Stanford. From our monthly bagel brunches, to our camping trips, to our hella fun parties, Stanford students can find (and create) a plethora of fun, innovative social opportunities. Benamy Yashar is the Social Chair of the JSA (Jewish Student Associate). Benamy, in addition to just being the man, plans and executes social programs on/off campus. If you are interested in helping to plan these activities, or if you have ideas of your own, feel free to contact Benamy at byashar@stanford.edu. If you're interested in Greek life, AEPi is the Jewish fraternity and AEPhi is the Jewish sororeity on campus. They partner with Hillel on a variety of different programs, as well as play a large role in Greek life at Stanford. If you want to learn more about AEPi, contact Dean Schaffer at deans55@stanford.edu or click here to check out their website. If you want to learn more about AEPhi, contact Annessa Kernberg at annessak@stanford.edu or click here to check out their website. |
