Social programming through Hillel at Stanford offers students a variety of avenues to meet new friends, grow personally, and expand their Jewish networks at Stanford. From our monthly bagel brunches, to our camping trips, to our Israeli club nights, to Oakland A's baseball excursions, Stanford students can find a plethora of fun, innovative social opportunities. The Second Sundays Jazz and Bagel Brunches, our flagship social program, take place in the university coffee house (CoHo) and feature local Jazz musicians, bagels, lox, and other good eats. These brunches are a popular way to connect with friends, listen to good music, and start your day off right……with FREE lox. The JLC (Jewish Leadership Council) Social Chair is Ethan Kottke. Ethan will oversee the social committee as well as plan and execute social programs on campus. Look forward to: the JLC Ski Trip, Broomball, Dance Party, Open Mic nights, and many others. If you are interested in helping plan these activities, or have ideas of your own, contact Ethan Kottle at ekottke@stanford.edu. If you're interested in Greek life, AEPi is the Jewish fraternity on campus. They partner with Hillel on a variety of different programs, as well as playing a large role in Greek life at Stanford. If you are interested in finding out more about AEPi, contact Matt Golub at mgolub@stanford.edu or click here to check out their website. |
