Hillel at Stanford is committed to a flourishing Jewish and democratic State of Israel, and applies a strategic approach to the critical area of Israel programming. This year, Hillel at Stanford's Israel program is more robust than ever, particularly in the wake of increased anti-Israel activity on campus as well as false claims in a local publication that inaccurately depicted Hillel's Israel activity. The following attachments are available to you as of February, 2007:
Hillel at Stanford Board Statement, February 5, 2007

Winter 2007 Report regarding Hillel's Israel Activities
Hillel at Hillel's Israel programs focus on advocacy, culture and education, leadership development and travel to Israel. Highlight examples of recent Israel programs included speaking engagements by Natan Sharansky, Michael Oren, David Horovitz, and Shavit Matias. Hillel sponsors daily programs including a festival in White Plaza and Disco Balagan (Israeli Dance Party) during just one week in celebration of Israeli Independence Day each Spring. Hillel also sends students to Israel each year through Hillel's Taglit-birthright israel trip and Hillel Israel Experience trips.
